The Return of Beauflex, the Absence of Kunitz

Postby GSdrums87 on Mon Nov 04, 2013 12:21 pm

Kunitz missing from practice today could mean anything; a maintainance day or an injury. Assuming it's the latter, and the way the Geno line has been playing, could we be seeing a chance at some Beauflex-Crosby-Dupuis action? He'd be on his off wing, but it could have some potential.

I'm going to assume Kunitz is getting a maintenance day. If he were to be injuried, Dupuis is on this off-wing, so slotting him on Crosby's left and Beau on the right makes more sense than having both wingers on their off side.

We're losing some serious mustard if Kunitz is out for long. :/

I'm assuming Beau, while returning to practice, won't be returning to actual game play for a week or so.

Unless his injury is one where once he's cleared for practice, he's cleared for anything.

In the same regard, how is James N. still weeks away? How bad was he injured??

James Neal is the truest definition of a "glass cannon" I've ever seen in hockey.

Maybe I'm missing your point but if your claim is that he is injury prone his games played doesn't suggest that at all. In the last four full seasons he has played:.77, 78, 79, and 80 games. Not sure what else you would want.

FULL SEASONS!

Naw, idk why I thought that, just felt he was hurt all the time. Maybe it's the disappearing act him and Geno like to pull sometimes

Hoping just maintainance; no one will ever go to the net again if he is injured.

This long with James Neal; broken bones somewhere. He got hit with a pitch on his hand , right ? ;) :P

Kunitz was maintenance.

Bennett did practice, but needs to practice more before returning, per coach.

Didn't Neal just begin skating recently? I highly doubt it was a hand injury that kept him from skating.

I'm shocked Kunitz didn't have maintenance days after the Boston game.

I almost mistyped it (on phone) as Kunutz.

That's the best I got.
