Great experience for the Maatta/Bortuzzo pairing. No reason why they can't stick together all year into the playoffs.

That game was huge for this team, for Fleury. Great effort all around. Love the lockdown in the third.

Indeed. I think the Pens used him there on the PP like twice the first week he was here and that was it. What a waste.

that's some revisionist history. He was on the 2nd PP unit the entire eastern conference finals.

Still on the PP.

And he still didn't shoot the puck.

He's obviously trying to compensate to Boston fans for being sloppy seconds. So go out and throw some hits. Don't launch the games best player head first into the boards, then continue to cross check him.

I have to be honest. I defended the guy as I do think he was misused here. That said, his squeaky clean class act image comes off as phony to me. He comes off pretentious as ****. I don't think any one who is truly a level headed class act (and whatever else he's touted to be) would act like that in this situation. Dude was a head case tonight.

With that said, none of this matters. Suck it Jerome.

He was on the second unit because he was atrocious with the top unit.

You know as well as I do that the Penguins' second power play unit gets 30 seconds, maybe 45 if they're lucky, and don't have nearly the playmakers the first unit does. He's a guy that does need to be set up for that shot.

He had 2 power play goals, same as Sid and Neal and 2 more than Malkin had

I could not care less about Iginla. He was a Penguin for five minutes. Who cares what he did or didn't do during his cup of coffee here? I hope he retires cup-less.

It'll have to be a thermos.

And the 1st was with the 1st unit in the Islanders series.

But there's still a reason he was taken off. He wasn't getting the job done.

Sure. He can have the the extra best thermos you can buy with vinyl and stripes and a cup built right in.
