Picked up a Fleury at Penney's. $130 and had a 20% off coupon = $104. Couldn't find one less than $160 anywhere else.

Picked up my first Borntrade jersey a few weeks ago through my buddies order. He got them within 2 weeks and i'm very happy with the thing. I guess it depends on your fashion taste of which i have none. Seriously the jersey is perfect as far as im concerned. The colors, nameplate. number, etc. are perfect. Cant beat it for $35. My wife got me a Crosby jersey for Xmas at JCP and to be honest i really cant tell the difference except some small details.

Just got my first Borntrade Pens jersey (I had previously purchased Pirates and Steelers gear) and it is absolutely phenomenal. While Pirates and Steelers jerseys, although still high quality, can still be easily pointed out as knock-offs, the white Malkin jersey I got is incredibly spot on. Authentic everything. I paid $60 with shipping and it just completely blows the $120 premier I bought from PensGear a few years ago out of the water. I will never be purchasing a "real" jersey again.

Premier models are as "real" as the Chinese knockoffs...I wouldnt compare to those.

I'd actually prefer a good Borntrade jersey compared to a "Premier" jersey. And that's coming from someone viewed by some as a "jersey snob" on this board.

Borntrade folks, is this best "cheap" alternative website out there since there are soooo many?
If getting a Pens jersey, are they all good, as I wanted a Powder Blue?

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Blank-Premier-N ... 2eba8f6ecc

Blank premier white jerseys for $49 - free ship. Good deal if you're a medium.

Yes, but those are just blank jerseys, I'd like a player.

I actually saw a nice, low cost jersey on ebay. It was removed as they claimed it could not be authenicated.
Well it was what I wanted so I contact the seller who is Chinese. He sent me an email saying he will sell it to me for 40 or 50 (I forgot).
Here are the pictures, you tell me if I should try it or not.

If you can't make the transaction through ebay I wouldn't do it. It was pulled for a reason. You will lose your money.

Irregardless, does that jersey look good?

Before I make a Borntrade purchase, any hints? I'm looking for a Geno Powder Blue, are the Powder Blues as good as the Black and Whites?

It's a Chinese knockoff jersey, but for a cost that low, I'd give it a shot. I doubt the bidding will be that low two days from now, but you can't beat the price, especially with free shipping.

The neck laces make it really easy to tell it's a knock off. On all Reebok Premier and Authentic jerseys the NHL logo is perfectly placed and never covered by the laces.

I'm sure most aren't bothered by the wrong sized lettering and the thick numbers, but the letters in the crest look crooked. It's very noticable around the E-N-G in Penguins.

I will be ordering Jerseys from Borntrade sometime soon. Shipping is $25 on your entire order so trying to find some family members to go in some. I am thinking a NEAL for me, Neal Kids for my G/F, and a Old Grey Pirates jersey maybe VAn Slyke. 38+35+28 plus shipping.

I'm looking at getting a Neal or Fleury jersey from there. Let me know what the quality is like.

They're both knock offs. The first one being the better of the two due to the thicker blue outlines on the numbers.

But as stated before, the lettering in the circle log should not distorted. Nor should the NHL neck logo be covered by the laces.

Both knock offs?
Jersey 1 is 60, Jersey 2 is 70.

Would for the money I be better off on borntrade with these:

Got a white Neal not too long ago from borntrade. I've bought 3 or 4 pens jerseys from them and this is the first one I got that I'm not 100% satisfied with. The Penguin crest on the front is stitched on probably about 2 inches lower than it should be. Nevertheless, it was $35 and I can spill stuff on it, so whatev.

That's a decent knock-off, probably one of the better ones I've seen posted so far. Letters in the crest are still somewhat crooked, but not nearly as offensive at the other pic that was posted.

No. That A isn't even close. It looks like they stole that A from another lettering kit.
