Look at HF boards. Reading CBJ's thing is kind of pathetic really, just basically saying the same generic hate over and over.

To be fair... it had to suck for them.

I remember when Toronto and the like used to take over Mellon/Civic Arena like we did last night at Nationwide. It sucked, really bad, especially when your team gets run out of the building.

I had a blast, and everyone around me was cool and not too drunk, so the CBJ fans didn't get it too bad, all 4 of them that were in my section.

Yeah, I wasn't a fan of booing the blue jackets players or their team but whatever. The fans I was around in 207 were pretty respectful and the CBJ fans were pretty good sports about it.

Can you imagine if this happened in Philly? There might be riots in the stands. Or maybe they'd just shut up. It seems they only pick fights when it's like 30 on 1. At least from my experiences.

Did anyone take photos of that cannon mascot? Wow, Steely McBeam looks straight all of the sudden. On the other hand, I thought that the goal cannon was cool, I didn't know that they did that there. Good thing they didn't use it for us or they would have ran out of black powder.

Yeah the actual cannon was very cool, great concept. If the Jackets could get any semblance of good goal-tending they would be OK I think. Maybe add a stud d-man or Brad Richards in the off-season and they could possibly do something... who knows. Nash is a monster though, every time a Jacket was able to hold the puck and muscle guys it was him, no one else on that team could do it and man is he huge.

Mike Commodore seems like a waste on that team. He's not very good and he's afraid to take the body. The Jackets really need a Stay at home D-man or 2, and a talented center. Mason needs to figure it out.

I had 2 Jackets fans in my section, a dude and his wife. After the Pens made it 5-0 he got up, patted my friend on the crest of his Pens jersey and said, "I can't take this **** anymore."

toronto fans in pittsburgh isn't even remotely comparable to how it was at nationwide. there were many toronto fans but never a majority. nationwide was just another level. i know what you mean though...
