One of the ushers up there last year told me the intent of the area is for corporate events for ~250-300 people. It's nice in that it has it's own concessions, bathrooms, etc. so you don't have to go far for anything.

I sat up there for the Pens game last year and it was a good time. For sure there are seats, 2 rows, and it's not general admission style.[/quote]

I just snagged 3 tickets in the Terrace just to get it over with. The 'own concession area' sold me. My question for anyone that may know, on one page of the order it says the tickets are in Row B but the seats were numbers were not given by the seller. Then on the confirmation page it says "Row B- General Admission" Do you know if I just screwed myself?

If you got them on stubhub...most sellers dont list the seat numbers to protect themselves from the teams. So they almost always say GA on the confirmation. The tickets themselves should be actual seats.

It's great that so many Pens fans will be there. Columbus is hurting to get people into the seats. So much so The Blue Jackets called my buddy and invited him (us) back! They lowered the price and gave us better seats to sweeten the pot. I even think we get a free hat, not that I want a CBJ hat. Did they do this for anyone else?

columbus surely has to be asking the league to schedule pittsburgh every year on a friday or saturday night. it's been that way for the past 3 years.

Where did buy the Terrace seats? And for how much? I'm looking to go, but I'll be at the Pitt-Cincy game and could possibly hit this on the way back. But I wanna get cheap so I'm not losing that much if I can't make it.

on Stubhub. Bought 3 tickets, 50 each. with the charges came to $180 total. Not great, but a week before the game thats the best I've found.

drnort, thanks for the info. Did you say you sat there? How is the view for hockey? And yes, I did buy from Stubhub and it gave me an actual Row, just no seat numbers so that eases my mind. I can't wait for this. And I have a free place to stay in Columbus. I'll see everyone out there!

We should get nametags for our Internet names for the game.

If these games keep coming up on the wekeend...and we keep getting the presale code (discounted tix + buying before they really go on sale to everyone) I don't see myself NOT going. Hell, even if it's during the week, I would take off work probably. It's a lot of fun with all the Pens fans raising havoc in the concourses.

It was pretty hidden on their site....

Parking
Our Columbus Ohio luxury hotel offers two convenient parking options for our guests:

Valet Parking – is available for $23.00 per day, with in and out privileges. Hourly rates are also available. Maximum garage clearance is 6’8”

Self Parking - at the City Center Parking Garage is available at the adjacent City Center Mall parking garage. This underground garage is connected to the Hyatt by a covered indoor mall walkway. Hyatt on Capitol Square guests may use elevator number four in back of the underground parking garage to go up to level one for mall walkway to the Hyatt.
Costs are determined on an hourly basis. Each time a guest exits the parking structure, they will need to pay the current charge.

Maximum garage clearance is 6’8”
