Jake 1/7, how about he not be in the top 5?

He was the only reason we even got a single point. Rest of the team screwed him.

Goaltending has let this team down a lot in the past few years, but this game was definitely a case of the team letting the goaltender down.

With a Sunday afternoon vs Kings being the 3rd game in 4 days, a flat performance wouldn't be too shocking. All star break is going to be welcomed at this point.

I thought the coincidental minors would expire in overtime and there would be a 4 on 4 until the first whistle. Didn’t know the penalties wouldn’t end until the first whistle.

If they beat the Kings and Caps, these losses will not feel as bad

The Kings outskated them terribly when they played a couple weeks ago and the Pens were coming in rested…

It seemed our regular shooters had been cold lately but wow, as per Grove

Until this season, Guentzel had never missed consecutive SO attempts. He's now missed 5 straight.

Letang has missed 7 of his last 8. Malkin, now seemingly a regular fourth choice, has missed 7 straight.

Again, how don’t you adjust this? How do guys sit there and watch these guys continue to fail and not think, this is insane?

The Rangers lost in regulation tonight so we are still first in Metro. At least until tomorrow.

Sunday the Kings will be coming to us with the second game of a back to back. Maybe they will be a little tired and we can turn the table.

Agreed. Their success is taking a little bit for granted here. This was the year that many of the “experts” picked them to miss the playoffs. They are exceeding expectations. Now are they playing great at the moment? Of course not. But they are playing a ton of hockey lately with different players in and out of the lineup.

They need a few reinforcements by the deadline, but they are right there and can play with anyone. As long as Jarry remains at this level.

I’m enjoying the season and their work ethic. When was the last time you’ve seen a Pens team this good on the PK? PK is all about hard work.

Looking forward to see what this team can do…

Yeah, it's past time to try a few new shooters!

I’d like to see Erod and Matheson in the mix in the SO.
