After a scoreless first, Chris Kunitz opened the scoring with a power play goal at 6:54 of the second period. The Pens then got goals from Brandon Sutter and Jussi Jokinen in the third. Marc-Andre Fleury made 21 saves on 23 shots and fended off a late comeback attempt by Boston.
