Pens sign Simpson and Berehowsky (29-Aug-2003)
The Penguins have signed LW Reid Simpson and D Drake Berehowsky. The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette has reported that Berehowsky signed a one year deal for $450K and Simpson signed a minor league contract.
Training Camp Schedule released (29-Aug-2003)
The Penguins have announced their 2003 Training Camp Schedule at Iceoplex. Camp opens next Friday with medicals at UPMC. Selected veterans have their medicals on Thursday, September 11th. The full Training Camp Roster is available from the official Pens site:

Phil Bourque named radio color commentator (29-Aug-2003)
Ex-Pen Phil Bourque has been selected as next season's radio color commentator. Bourque will join Paul Steigerwald on the radio side and replaces Bob Errey who will be the television color commentator.
Pens trade Hedberg to Vancouver (25-Aug-2003)
The Penguins have sent G Johan Hedberg to the Vancouver Canucks for a 2nd round 2004 Draft pick. Pittsburgh, apparently, will start the 2003-04 season with Sebastien Caron and Jean-Sebastien Aubin in net.
Pens sign Caron to four year deal (22-Aug-2003)
The Penguins have signed G Sebastien Caron to a four year, one-way, $3.2M deal. Caron will make $650K in 2003-04 and his salary will increase $100K in each additional season.

Bob Errey, last season's radio color commentator, is the Pens' new TV color commentator and will work with Hall-of-Famer, Mike Lange for Fox Sports Pittsburgh. Phil Bourque is expected to replace Errey and work alongside Paul Steigerwald.

Pens re-sign Kraft and Bradley (1-Aug-2003)
The Penguins have re-signed restricted free agents Milan Kraft and Matt Bradley. The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette is reporting that Kraft's salary is around $600K and Bradley's salary is $514,250.
