2011-12 Schedule released (23-Jun-2011)
The NHL has released the 2011-12 season schedule and the Penguins begin with a three-game Western Canada road-trip that starts Thursday, October 6th at 10:00pm.

The Pittsburgh Penguins have announced their 2011 preseason schedule which begins on September 21st.

Sept. 24, MINNESOTA, 3:00pm
Sept. 27, vs. Los Angeles in Kansas City, 8:00pm
Sept. 30, at Chicago, 8:00pm
Oct. 2 at Detroit, 4:00pm

Penguins sign Adams to two-year contract extension (9-Jun-2011)
The Pittsburgh Penguins have signed forward Craig Adams to a two-year contract extension.

The contract has an average annual value of $675,000, and runs through the 2012-13 season.

Penguins Name Bill Guerin Player Development Coach (8-Jun-2011)
The Pittsburgh Penguins have hired former player Bill Guerin as player development coach. Guerin will responsible for assisting in the development of players in the Penguins' organization in the minor leagues as well as junior and college hockey.
