James Neal scores his first NHL playoff goal in double overtime to down the Lightning 3-2 in front of 20,326 at St. Pete Times Forum. The Penguins built a 2-0 lead on goals from Tyler Kennedy (8:14 - 1st period) and Arron Asham (2:39 - 2nd). Tampa Bay got the game to overtime by getting a late second-period goal from Martin St. Louis and then a late third-period goal from Sean Bergenheim. The Pens have a chance to close out the series Saturday at noon in Pittsburgh.
Penguins win Game Three 3-2 (18-Apr-2011)
The Penguins grab a 2-1 series lead after defeating the Lightning 3-2 in front of 20,545 at St. Pete Times Forum. Pittsburgh got goals from Max Talbot and Arron Asham 45 seconds apart in the first period. Martin St. Louis scored a power play goal late in the first and then another power play goal early in the third to tie the game at two. The tie was short-lived as Tyler Kennedy got the eventual game-winner 31 seconds later.

Tampa Bay scored three goals on eight shots in the first period including a goal on their first shot on goal and cruise to a 5-1 victory evening the series at one. Craig Adams scored the lone goal for Pittsburgh at 9:08 of the second period.
Penguins open playoffs with 3-0 blanking of Lightning (13-Apr-2011)
The Penguins open their Eastern Conference Quarterfinal series with a 3-0 victory over Tampa Bay in front of 18,390 at CONSOL Energy Center. Marc-Andre Fleury stopped 32 shots and the Pens got two goals in an 18 second span of the third from Alexei Kovalev and Arron Asham. Chris Kunitz added an empty-netter with 42 seconds to go.
