Penguins beat Kings 4-3 in OT on Malkin's second goal of the game (1-Nov-2006)
The Penguins defeated the Kings 4-3 in overtime with an Evgeni Malkin power play goal in front of 18,118 at the Staples Center. Malkin also scored in the first period and now has a goal in each of his first six games which hasn't been done since the NHL's inaugural season in 1917-18. Jordan Staal and Noah Welch also scored for Pittsburgh.
