Pens lose lead in third and fall 4-3 to Devils (23-Feb-2003)
The Penguins allowed two goals in a 37 second span of the third period and fell 4-3 to the Devils. Pittsburgh got the game's opening goal at 4:18 of the second period from Mario Lemieux off a nice feed from Tomas Surovy. The Devils then responded with two goals in 1:39 to end the second period with a 2-1 lead. The Pens got two goal in the first five minutes of the third from Rico Fata and Martin Straka but New Jersey took the victory with two goals near the middle of the final period.
